In keeping with my need to finish up projects, this lap quilt was made with blocks left from another stack and whack project. The stack and whack technique is a process of stacking identical cuts of fabric and then carefully cutting them into blocks. This is what gives the kalidescope pinwheel look. The really fun thing about this particular block is that when you finally finish it, it is always a surprise as to how it looks.
