Made from the 2 1/2″ strip box, this multicolored log cabin is bright and cheerful.What makes this nontraditional is that the logs are not in the matching pairs you would find in the regular log cabin. Since this came out of a scrap box, there may not have been enough of any color to do the traditional look, and this way, you can use up what is laying around. The idea for this setting came from a quilt book that was used for “jelly rolls”.
