This  18 1/2″ block is made with an oriental print in the center with batik fabrics surrounding it.Together with eight other blocks it has been turned into a nice decorator quilt which may still be available on the for sale page.

One of the hardest parts of doing this star is keeping all those little 1 1/2″ feathers at the edge of the star from going the wrong direction. It looks easy, but backwards happened on a few occasions prompting the need to pick out stitches .
